This page lists every cookie and similar technology that elevanatours.com sets, what each one is for, and how to switch it off. The list is not a general description — each name below is one that this website actually sets.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. It lets the site recognise the same browser on a later page or a later visit. Two related technologies do the same job in a different place in your browser: local storage, which persists between visits, and session storage, which is erased when you close the tab. Both are covered here.
What this site does not do
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies for Meta/Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft/Bing, or any session-recording or heat-mapping tool. We do not sell your browsing data. The only third party that receives anything from this site is Google, for the two purposes described below.

Analytics — how the site is used
These tell us which pages are read, how people move through the site and where they leave. They are about pages, not about you as a person.

Advertising — whether an advert led to an enquiry
We advertise on Google. When someone arrives from one of our adverts and then sends an enquiry, these let us count that enquiry once against the advert that brought them. They are what stops us paying for adverts that bring nobody, and they are not used to build a profile of you or to show you adverts elsewhere on this site.

Services that set them
- Google Tag Manager — loads the two services below. It does not itself collect anything about you.
- Google Analytics 4 — measures how the site is used.
- Google Ads — measures whether our adverts lead to enquiries.
What these services do with the data is governed by Google's own privacy terms, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy.
How to turn them off
- In your browser. Every major browser can block or delete cookies for a single site from its settings, usually under “Privacy” or “Site settings”. Blocking ours will not stop you reading any page, browsing tours or sending an enquiry.
- Analytics only. Google publishes a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics on every site you visit: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Advertising only. You can turn off ad personalisation across Google at myadcenter.google.com.
Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. It is written from what the site actually sets, so it does not go stale quietly.
