Day 1: Arrival in Abu Simbel – Exploring the Temples of Ramses II

Your Lake Nasser adventure begins with a warm welcome at Abu Simbel airport or your hotel, followed by a private transfer to your luxury cruise ship. After a smooth check-in and lunch on board, set out to discover the extraordinary Abu Simbel Temples. These colossal structures, carved from a mountainside by Pharaoh Ramses II, were relocated in the 1960s to protect them from flooding created by the High Dam.

Take in the awe-inspiring size and symmetry of the Great Temple, as well as the smaller Temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari. Later, unwind on deck with tea and admire the serene views over the lake. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 2: Sailing Toward Kasr Ibrim – Visits to Amada, Derr, and the Tomb of Pennut

Disembark next to explore three remarkable sites:

Continue to the Temple of Derr, a rock-cut sanctuary erected by Ramses II on the Nile’s eastern bank.
