Your adventure begins in Esna, approximately 53 kilometers south of Luxor. Step aboard the Meroe Dahabiya and meet the welcoming crew. Esna is a bustling market town famous for the Temple of Khnum, which sits nine meters below the current street level. Take a guided stroll to this ancient marvel, then wander through vibrant markets filled with textiles and local treasures. Spend your first night on board, peacefully moored along the riverbank.

Sail to El Kab, the former capital of Upper Egypt and home to the Temple of Nekhbet. Upon arrival, walk through a traditional fishing village to explore remarkable tombs carved into the hillside.
Later in the afternoon, reach Edfu and visit the impressive Temple of Horus, renowned as one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through the lively city streets. After your visit, continue your journey to a tranquil island for an overnight stay in a peaceful natural setting.
