Nine days from Cairo to Aswan and Luxor: south by overnight sleeper train, three nights on a five-star Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, and back to Cairo by sleeper train.
After a free first evening in Cairo, a full day at Giza takes in the Pyramids before the night train to Aswan. You spend a day seeing Aswan and a night in the city (Abu Simbel can be added as an optional excursion), then board the cruise. The boat stops at the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu on the way to Luxor, where you visit the East Bank and, the next day, the West Bank before the sleeper train back to Cairo. A full-day tour of Cairo closes the trip, with a transfer to the airport on day nine.
Included: meet-and-assist on arrival, an English-speaking guide, a representative in each city, two nights in a four-star Cairo hotel and one night in a three-star Aswan hotel with breakfast, three nights on the cruise on full board, both sleeper trains, and transport between the sights.
