Travel across two worlds on this nine-day adventure that pairs the monumental icons of pharaonic Egypt with the warm, living culture of Nubia. Stand beneath the Pyramids of Giza, wander the treasure-filled halls of both the Egyptian Museum and the new Grand Egyptian Museum, then swap the capital for an unhurried Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan. Temple after temple unfolds along the river — Karnak, Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo and island-set Philae — before the colossal rock sanctuaries of Abu Simbel and a visit to a Nubian village bring you face to face with the colour, music and easy hospitality of Egypt’s deep south.
Your Egyptian adventure begins the moment you land at Cairo International Airport, where our representative is waiting to walk you through arrival formalities. A private, air-conditioned car then transfers you to your hotel to settle in, leaving the evening free to rest or take a first stroll through the city.
