Your Dahabiya Malouka Nile adventure begins in Esna, a lively trading town approximately 53 kilometers south of Luxor. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly greeted as you step aboard the Malouka, meet the attentive crew, and settle into your comfortable, elegant cabin.
The journey kicks off with a guided stroll through Esna’s bustling streets, leading to the hidden Templo of Khnum, set nine meters below modern street level. Here, you’ll be introduced to the ancient Egyptian world through the temple’s remarkable reliefs and its sacred atmosphere—an inspiring glimpse into Egypt’s rich spiritual and architectural legacy.

Today, the cruise sails onward to El Kab, the former capital of Upper Egypt, renowned for the temple of Nekhbet and intriguing cliff-carved tombs. In the afternoon, the Malouka arrives at Edfu, home to the spectacular Temple of Horus—one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient sanctuaries. Enjoy a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride through Edfu's lively streets to reach this imposing temple, dedicated to the falcon god.
After your visit, return to the dahabiya and sail toward a peaceful Nile island for an overnight stay.
