Cairo is a pleasant 24°C and Upper Egypt reaches about 30°C, warm enough for the Nile deck by day and still cool at night. The Red Sea starts to warm, to about 21°C. Spring can bring the khamsin, a hot, dusty wind that blows for a day or two between March and May and can cloud the sky.

Medium to high. Still busy at the start of the month, then easing. Easter school holidays can lift demand in the last weeks, depending on the year. Prices come down a little from the winter peak.
